About

Nebojsa Novakovic is the maker behind Ten Thousand Studio, where objects are built slowly, by hand, and with a strong respect for material. Working primarily in wood, but often bringing in metal, glass, and acrylic, his pieces sit somewhere between functional object and quiet sculpture. There’s a pull toward clean lines and simple forms, but also an appreciation for age, imperfection, and the kind of character that only shows up over time.

While clocks have been a central part of the work, they’re really just one expression of a broader interest in form, balance, and presence. Each piece is made in Canada in small batches or as one-offs, with an emphasis on natural materials and a restrained, considered approach to design. The goal isn’t to overstate anything—just to make objects that feel grounded, lasting, and at home in the spaces people care about.
